Two up and one down. I’ve had to remake my query etter to fix the troll/ogre issue. We will see if that makes a difference.
In conducting my search this week, I search for associate agents as well as agents proper. I don’t know if it is a good idea as associates are younger agents still learning the ropes. Like apprentices. They might be more likely to take a chance on me, at the risk of being green. In general I would like to be with an agent who has experience bringing new authors to market, rather than a greenhorn figuring it out.
Not going to be much of a problem for now as nobody has said yes to my queries. I suppose if it comes to I can always say no.
Right now, I’m editing a short story with some potential. We will see.
